Founded in 2008 by Craig and Karl Phillips, Senior Equity Financial (SEF) of Massachusetts is a fully-licensed firm of reverse mortgage specialists.

We are two brothers continuing a second generation of experience in the financial services industry. Over the course of our careers, we have worked with thousands of clients, helping them create more comfortable retirements.

In 1999, we were introduced to the concept of reverse mortgages by our mother, a leader in the banking industry, who has spent more than 25 years specializing in residential lending. Working as a family team, we became the number-one originators of reverse mortgages in the country, for the nation’s largest reverse mortgage lender.
