Reversing negative attitudes toward mortgage companies: New mortgage company in Holbrook hoping to change negativity

At a time when the prevailing attitude toward the mortgage industry is negative, two brothers who grew up in Yarmouth are starting a business that they hope will help to change that attitude.

In September, Craig and Karl Phillips opened Senior Equity Financial Inc., a Holbrook firm that specializes in reverse mortgages. "We’re trying to set a new standard of professionalism in the mortgage industry,” Craig Phillips said.
